You can request a switch from one flight to another by calling us at TBA. A MONARC team member will do their best to accommodate your needs. Please note that there is a $75 change fee for each flight outside of 24 hours of departure time. For flight changes within 24 hours of departure, a $150 change fee applies.
In the event that you are late for your MONARC charter, there will be a charge of $250 per 10 minutes the helicopter is spinning, waiting past your scheduled departure time. These costs are derived from a combination of idle time, repositioning costs, and duty hours.
ALL OTHER FLIGHTS: No MONARC flights will be held past the time of departure.
All Weather Guarantee
If your flight is cancelled due to weather, you will be notified by Team MONARC via email, text, phone or in-app notification; MONARC will provide complimentary chauffeur-driven vehicles for customers scheduled to fly within Brisbane City to all Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast locations. All you need to do is get to the nearest MONARC departure location at the proposed time, once there, a Team MONARC member will escort you to your waiting vehicle and you will be on your way. Your MONARC account will be credited the full amount you paid for the seat or crowdsourced flight. This credit can be used towards future MONARC travel.
Please note: that in the case of cancelled flights, car departure times may differ than your original flight time. You also will be in a car with other passengers.
For Single/Multiple seats
You may cancel your seat reservation for an individual seat or multiple seats purchased on flights by providing notice to MONARC no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight.
You can cancel by calling us at (TBA). Please note—upon cancelling a seat or seats within the above stated parameters, MONARC will give users MONARC credit that will be applied to the user’s account and may be used for future travel. MONARC will not offer cash refunds.
A cancellation made within 24 hours of flight time will result in a forfeiture of the full ticket price.
For Charters or Crowdsourcing
When you launch a charter for crowdsourcing, you assume the full risk of the flight and have a responsibility to fly at the time you scheduled.
If you need to cancel, you may do so only under the following conditions:
1. It is at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled flight time AND
2. No additional seats have been sold.
3. For Coffs Harbour or Sydney flights: cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled flight time.
In this case you may notify MONARC and cancel your flight for a full refund. If one or more people have booked seats on your flight, you may not cancel the flight and will be charged accordingly.
Any MONARC credit you receive can be applied towards the price of an individual seat or a crowdsourced flight unless otherwise noted.
Credits will be applied at checkout. You may see how much you have accrued in credits by going to your profile in the App. Any credit not used at the end of the year (December 31st every year) will expire at the end of the year.
Please let us know in advance of any infants you will be traveling with you.
If the child you are traveling with is under the age of 2, he or she may sit on your lap for the duration of the flight.
If the child is older than 2, they are required by law to have their own seat.
If you are traveling with a pet, you must contact us to provide the animal’s weight and size in order to see if they can travel with you. If your pet is a service animal, please contact us at TBA.

Parking availability varies based upon location. All of our destinations will have nearby parking available at third-party lots if we do not have parking at that particular destination.

Flight times vary depending on where you are flying. From Brisbane; on the Average it takes 15 minutes to get to the Spit, 25 minutes to Byron Bay, 20 minutes to Sunshine Coast (helicopter), 35 minutes to Toowoomba (Helicopter), 45 minutes to Coffs Harbour.
**Please note that flight times are affected by and may be longer than stated due to a) total load of the helicopter b) headwinds.**
Brisbane to Sydney – 55 minutes.
Brisbane to Melbourne – 110 minutes
Flights are confirmed in the order they are received. Once your flight has found its place in the queue we will confirm it. Please be patient as we often have high flight volume, and will do our best to confirm your flight as soon as possible.
All passengers are required to bring a valid driver’s license, proof of age card or passport.
The main difference is potential savings. By launching a crowdsourced flight, you fly when you want to and have the potential to earn back credits for seats purchased by other users on your flight. Both options offer the same calibre of aviation equipment and highly skilled pilots. When you crowdsource, you must leave at the time you scheduled. We are unable to alter departure times as other people are flying with you.
When you refer a friend with your unique referral code, they get $100 off their first flight, and once they book, you get $50 in credit to use on any future bookings. Share your referral code via Twitter, SMS, Email, Facebook, or share in app by selecting Share in the navigation menu. There is a cap at 50 people, but if you’ve gotten that many, contact us because you’re a LEGEND MONARC user. MONARC reserves the right to deem your code invalid if you are found to be abusing the referral program in any way, determined by MONARC.
MONARC does not own, operate or fly the aircraft. The MONARC technology is integrated with the fleet and pilots of DOT & CASA licensed carriers for its aircraft.
MONARC PTY LTD. is not a direct or indirect air carrier. All Flights arranged by MONARC are currently operated by various operators including DOT licensed operators. For flights to any destination that are charters of the entire aircraft capacity, MONARC acts as the agent of the customer.
